iTunes-compatible RSS feed
VeloCMS generates an iTunes-tagged podcast RSS feed at /podcast.xml from every public post that has an audio file or the podcast tag, with tags for duration, episode and season numbers, author, category, cover art, and the explicit flag. Set the category, cover art and explicit flag in Admin → Settings → Podcast. Submit the feed once to Apple Podcasts Connect, Spotify, and Amazon Music; new episodes then appear in each directory the next time it reads your feed.
Native audio player on every episode
Attach an MP3, M4A or AAC file (up to 500 MB) in the post editor's Podcast panel, or paste an audio URL into the Audio URL field, and the built-in audio player renders above your show notes with the browser's native controls: play, pause, seek, and volume. No third-party embed needed.
Show notes that rank in search
Each episode post is a full SEO-optimised page: structured data (PodcastEpisode JSON-LD), a customisable slug, meta description, and Open Graph image from the episode artwork. Listeners searching for a guest name or episode topic find your show in Google — not just in podcast apps.
Audio hosted on Cloudflare R2, a player with no plugin JavaScript
Audio files you attach in the Podcast panel are stored on Cloudflare R2. Episode pages are server-rendered and cached, and the audio player is plain HTML markup with no plugin JavaScript, so it is visible on first paint.
Timestamps in your show notes
Write timestamps as a bulleted list in your show notes (for example 00:00 Intro, 04:12 Interview) so listeners can see what each part of the episode covers. They render as an ordinary list under the player; VeloCMS does not add chapter metadata to the RSS feed.
Paid listener subscriptions
Lock episodes behind a paywall for paid subscribers using your own Stripe account. Charge monthly or annually. VeloCMS takes 0% platform fee — you keep everything Stripe does not. Gated episodes play on your website only; they are left out of the public podcast feed. Use the newsletter system to send new-episode notifications to paid subscribers only.

Where is my audio hosted?
Attach your audio in the post editor's Podcast panel (MP3, M4A or AAC, up to 500 MB). It is hosted for you on VeloCMS's Cloudflare R2 storage, and the feed points to that file, so the audio is not served from your own domain. The feed itself, /podcast.xml, lives on your domain, so the address you submit to directories stays yours.
Does it support chapter markers?
Not as podcast-app chapters. The RSS feed does not carry chapter metadata, and the Podcast theme has no chapter timeline. You can list timestamps as a bulleted list in your show notes so listeners can see what each part of the episode covers.
How do I monetize my podcast with VeloCMS?
Lock episodes behind a paywall for paid subscribers using your own Stripe account — monthly or annual billing. VeloCMS takes 0% platform fee on subscriptions. Can I migrate from Anchor or Buzzsprout?
There is no Anchor or Buzzsprout importer. Recreate each episode as a post in Admin → Posts, attach the audio in the Podcast panel (or paste your existing audio URL into the Audio URL field) and paste the show notes. The Any Site importer on the Admin → Import screen can pull pages from your show's public website. Then update the feed URL in each podcast directory to your new /podcast.xml. Keep your old host's feed and audio files live until every directory has picked up the new feed, because VeloCMS cannot redirect URLs on another host's domain.
