What this integration does

Search Console is a read-only, OAuth2 connector — VeloCMS never writes anything to your property. After you authorize access in Admin → Plugins → Search Console, VeloCMS lists every property your Google account can access (both Domain and URL-prefix verified properties) and lets you pick which one covers this blog. Once selected, VeloCMS pulls search performance — clicks, impressions, average position, and top queries and pages — from the Search Console API and surfaces it in the editor's SEO panel, next to your on-page SEO score. If the property you pick does not actually cover the tenant's domain, VeloCMS warns you rather than silently showing data for the wrong site.

Read-only OAuth2

VeloCMS only reads search performance data. It never modifies your Search Console property or submits sitemaps on your behalf.

    Admin → Plugins → Search Console. Click Connect and authorize VeloCMS to read your Search Console data through Google's OAuth screen.

    Pick your property. Select the verified property that covers this blog. VeloCMS flags it if the property doesn't actually match this tenant's domain.
