What this integration does

The Mailchimp-sync plugin in VeloCMS listens for subscribe and unsubscribe events from the blog_members collection and mirrors them to a Mailchimp audience list in real time. When a reader enters their email and confirms their subscription on your blog, they appear in your Mailchimp audience automatically — no manual export, no Zapier subscription, no duplicate data entry. When a reader clicks the unsubscribe link in any VeloCMS email, they are removed from both the blog_members collection and the corresponding Mailchimp contact simultaneously, which keeps your Mailchimp suppression list accurate and your GDPR obligations met. The integration is fire-and-forget: once you connect your Mailchimp API key and select the audience in Admin → Settings → Integrations, it runs silently in the background.

Where to find it in admin

    Admin → Settings → Integrations → Mailchimp. Paste your Mailchimp API key and select the audience you want to sync to.

    Save. New subscribers from this point forward sync automatically. Existing subscribers can be bulk-exported from Admin → Members and imported into Mailchimp once to seed the audience.
