Reusable components: save once, insert anywhere

Save any block or section from the page builder as a component, then insert a copy from the Components tab on any page.

If you build the same hero, pricing row or call to action on several pages, save it once as a component and insert it wherever you need it. A component is a saved copy of a block or section from the page builder.

Save a block as a component

  1. Open a page in the page builder and select the block or section you want to keep. Selecting the whole page is not possible; pick a block inside it.
  2. In the Inspector, choose Save as component.
  3. Give it a name, add an optional description, and choose Save.
  4. A confirmation appears with a link to view all your components.

Insert it on another page

  1. In the editor palette, switch from Blocks to the Components tab.
  2. Search by name if you have many components.
  3. Click a component to insert it into the page.

Manage your components

Open Admin, then Components to see everything you have saved, and delete the ones you no longer need. A site can hold up to 100 components.

Inserting a component creates an independent copy. Editing the component later does not change pages that already use it, and editing a page does not change the saved component.

Components cannot be saved while your site is read-only, and template-only blocks or blocks from another theme cannot be saved in a component.
