Restaurant Website With Blog and Online Menu (No Dev)

A restaurant needs a website, a menu people can actually read on their phone, and a way to book a table — and somehow that always turns into hiring a developer. Not today. I'll build a restaurant site with a blog, a live online menu, and reservations, start to finish, no code.

When I sign up, VeloCMS asks what I'm making, and there's a card for a restaurant or cafe — menu, events, specials, a warm hospitality tone. I pick it, and the site turns up dressed for the part: a restaurant theme, with a menu already sitting in the navigation.

The menu is its own tool, not a page I hand-format. I add sections — antipasti, pasta, dolci — then dishes underneath, each with a little description and a price. Change a special or bump a price, and it's a couple of clicks. No PDF anyone has to pinch-to-zoom.

And here's Trattoria Nove, live. The menu is a clean page on the site — readable on a phone, warm, on-brand — with the specials right where hungry people look. This is the page they'll actually open before they decide to walk in.

Then the table. Guests book right from the site, and every request lands in one place — name, party size, date — so you're not chasing voicemails. You can even sync it to your Google Calendar, so a booking shows up next to the rest of your day.

And because it's a real blog too, you keep people coming back — a seasonal menu, a wine night, the story behind a dish. News, Events, and Specials are already set up as categories, so an update takes a minute, not a meeting with a web guy.
