This plugin lets shoppers rate your products and ask questions on the product page. Reviews carry a 1 to 5 star rating, an optional title and text, and up to three photos. A review from a verified buyer is approved straight away. Anything else waits in your moderation queue until you approve or reject it. Approved reviews feed an average rating and count, taken over every approved review of the product, which VeloCMS also writes into the structured data of shop product pages so search engines can read it. Questions work the same way: they stay hidden until you answer or approve them. You place the parts on a product page with five page-builder blocks.
Shop owners selling products or downloads through VeloCMS who want social proof on their product pages and are willing to look at a moderation queue now and then. It suits stores with steady orders, where the verified buyer label means something. If you want automatic review requests emailed to buyers, this plugin does not do that.
You install the plugin and add its blocks to a product page in the page builder: Review Form, Review List, Aggregate Rating, Question Form and Question List.
A shopper submits a review. The form blocks bots with a hidden field, a two-second minimum fill time, and limits per email address and per IP address. When Cloudflare Turnstile is set up for the shop's address, the shopper must also pass it. A shopper can type an order number to prove the purchase.
If the order number matches a completed order for the same email address and the title and text contain nothing that looks like a link, the review is approved at once and marked as a verified buyer. Otherwise it is held as pending.
You open the moderation queue in the admin area and approve, reject or remove reviews. Removing marks a review rejected and keeps the record. Questions have their own queue, where an answer publishes the question.
Approved reviews appear in the list block and the average rating, and the structured data of the shop product page gains the rating and up to ten of your latest approved reviews.
The plugin stores what shoppers type into the forms: name, email address, rating, text, any photos and, for questions, the question itself. It also keeps the IP address of each submission for abuse checks. It reads your products and completed orders to confirm verified buyers. The only outside call the server makes is the Cloudflare Turnstile check, and only where Turnstile is set up. Photos go from the shopper's browser straight to VeloCMS media storage.

The AggregateRating JSON-LD is the real win here. Within three days of enabling the plugin I could see the star snippet in Google Search Console. That organic CTR lift is worth more than any paid ad.
Works perfectly with my Velvet Editorial theme — the review cards adapt to the typography without any custom CSS. The one thing I wish existed is a way to send automated post-purchase review request emails. Apparently that's Phase 3, so I'll wait.
Does exactly what it says. My only frustration is that photo attachments are marked as V1.1 — a few customers asked if they could upload unboxing shots with their reviews. Not a dealbreaker since the core star + text system is solid, but worth knowing before you install.
I was nervous about spam reviews, but the three-tier moderation (pending, approved, rejected) means I can review everything before it goes live. The honeypot catches bots too — in two weeks I had zero spam make it through. Really thoughtful anti-abuse design.
There are no auto-approve settings. Verified buyers without a link in their text are approved automatically, and everything else needs your decision.
Verification depends on the shopper typing the order number. A shopper who leaves it blank is treated as unverified. The check matches the order number, the email address and a completed status. It does not check that the order contained the product being reviewed.
A verified review is held for moderation if its title or text contains what looks like a link: an http:// or https:// address, a www. address, or a bare domain such as example.com with a common ending. Email addresses do not count as links, and a rare domain ending can slip through.
The plugin does not email buyers to ask for a review, and it does not email you when a review or question arrives. Check the queue yourself.
Turnstile is checked only where Turnstile keys exist for the address the shopper is on: the platform's keys on velocms.org addresses, or your own keys on a custom domain. With no keys there is no Turnstile check, and the other spam checks carry the load. The photo upload step itself is not behind Turnstile.
Rating and review structured data is added on shop product pages at /shop/ addresses. The /products/ pages do not carry it.
Only from verified buyers whose text has no link. All other reviews wait in the queue until you approve them. Rejected reviews are never shown.
The shopper enters an order number. If it matches a completed order made with the same email address, the review is marked as a verified buyer.
Approved ratings are added to the product's structured data, which is what search engines read. Whether Google shows stars is Google's decision, and nothing is guaranteed.
