What this integration does

The ShipStation connector in VeloCMS listens for the afterOrderCreate event on paid orders. If the order contains physical items, it sends the order — buyer address, line items, and totals — into your ShipStation account, where it lands in the Awaiting Shipment queue with ShipStation's own order ID captured for idempotent replay. From the order screen in admin, a “Buy label” button uses the carrier, service, and package codes you configured to fetch ShipStation's available rates, picks the cheapest one automatically, and purchases the label — the label URL and tracking number are saved to the order immediately. If ShipStation declines the purchase, VeloCMS shows the real reason instead of pretending it worked.

Where to find it in admin

    Admin → Plugins → ShipStation. Save your ShipStation API key and secret, ship-from address, and default carrier/service/package codes. VeloCMS encrypts your credentials at rest.

    Buy labels from the order screen. Open any physical order in Admin → Orders and click Buy label — VeloCMS picks the cheapest ShipStation rate and saves the tracking number to the order.
