Set your garage's opening hours and availability
Control which days and hours customers can book online, add per-service overrides, and block out a day for holidays or training.
Go to Admin → Appointments → Availability to set the hours your garage takes online bookings. Availability rules are weekly — you set them once and they repeat every week until you change or remove them.
Adding a weekly rule
Pick a day of the week and a start and end time (for example Monday, 08:00 to 17:30), then save. The booking page will only offer slots inside a rule you've added — a day with no rule at all is a day with no online booking, so make sure every day you're open has at least one rule.
- Rules can overlap different services, but two rules for the same service on the same day can't overlap each other's time ranges
- A rule with no service selected applies to every service by default
- Turning a rule inactive keeps it saved but stops it from offering slots — useful for a temporary change without losing the setup
Blocking out a single day
For a one-off closure — bank holiday, staff training, a broken ramp — add an availability exception for that date instead of editing your weekly rules. The exception overrides the weekly rule for that day only; the following week reverts to normal automatically.
Syncing with Google Calendar
If your team already tracks jobs in Google Calendar, connect it from Admin → Settings → Bookings. Once connected, VeloCMS reads busy time from that calendar so a job you've already blocked out there won't get double-booked online.
